Option #1 The Willamette River Waterfront Ride
This ride begins in downtown Portland along the scenic Waterfront Bike Path. Riders will cross the River at the Steel
Bicycle Bridge crossing to the Eastbank Esplanade on a dedicated multi-use path. This path hosts beautiful views of the city
skyline and the longest floating trail in the U.S. that allows riders to expereince the beautiful Willamette River. As the
ride continues the path becomes quiet and treelined with views of Ross Island and Oaks Botttom Wildlife Refuge where wildlife
is often spotted including Blue Heron and Osprey! On the way back the famous Hawthorne Bridge is used to cross to the West
side of the river. This is the most popular bike commuting bridge in the city. riders will then spin down the Waterfront and
finish the ride at Waterfront Bicycle. This ride is just under 12 miles.

This ride is the longer ride and encompasses the first ride but continues on past Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge and takes
a turn to the east at Sellwood, a quaint Portland neighborhood where a bike boulavard is accessed to pick up the Springwater

Creek. After passing Tideman Johnson Park the ride will turn and go up Crystal Springs Blvd.( bike lane) to the Crystal Springs
Rhododendron Gardens. The garden will be in full bloom and is spectacular to take in this time of year. The ride will then
